Last updated: November 13, 2025
Thank you for being part of Child Safe Nepal. By joining our programs, courses, workshops, or events, you agree to the Terms of Service described below. These terms help ensure a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment for all children and families.
1. Acceptance of Terms
When you register for or access any Child Safe Nepal program, you are agreeing to follow these Terms of Service and the related policies we provide. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our programs.
2. Purpose of Our Programs
Child Safe Nepal offers learning programs focused on life skills, emotional development, safety education, digital well-being, and personal growth. Our materials are created for educational use and are not a replacement for medical, psychological, legal, or emergency support.
3. Who Can Participate
Our programs are designed for children, youth, parents, caregivers, teachers and community organizations. Anyone under 18 years of age requires a parent or guardian’s consent to participate.
4. Role of Parents and Guardians
Parents and guardians play an important role in supporting children’s learning. You agree to supervise your child when needed, make sure they use devices safely, help them follow instructions, and contact us if you need assistance or have concerns. Child Safe Nepal is not responsible for unsupervised use of the internet or devices outside our learning environment.
5. Access to Programs
After registration, participants receive access to online lessons, videos, interactive activities, worksheets, and other learning materials. Access may be time-limited depending on the program.
6. Payments, Refunds and Cancellations
For paid programs, all fees must be paid before access is granted. Refunds are available only if stated clearly in the program’s refund policy. Refunds are not provided for partially completed courses or unused access unless specified.
For free programs, Child Safe Nepal may modify or discontinue offerings when necessary.
7. Ownership of Content
All course materials, including videos, stories, worksheets, illustrations, characters, and interactive content, belong to Child Safe Nepal. You agree not to copy, share, sell, or modify our materials without written permission. Schools and organizations may contact us separately to request licensing.
8. Participant Conduct
Participants must use our programs respectfully. This includes avoiding harmful behaviour such as uploading inappropriate content, misusing our platforms, or attempting to disrupt program access. We may suspend access if these expectations are not met.
9. Safety, Well-Being and Sensitive Topics
Some lessons may discuss topics such as personal safety, emotional health, decision making, bullying and online risks. All content is prepared in child-friendly and age-appropriate ways. However, parents and guardians are responsible for deciding whether a topic is suitable for their child. Child Safe Nepal is not responsible for emotional reactions or misunderstandings that occur outside the learning environment.
10. Technology and Platform Limitations
Our programs may use different online platforms. While we try to offer smooth access, Child Safe Nepal is not responsible for internet connection issues, device problems, third-party platform outages or access difficulties beyond our control.
11. Privacy and Use of Personal Information
We collect only the information needed to run the programs. This may include names, email addresses or basic learning progress. We do not sell personal information. Data may be used for enrollment, certificates, program improvement, communication and safety. Parents may contact us to request the removal of their data.
12. Certificates and Course Completion
Some programs may offer certificates. To receive a certificate, participants must complete the required lessons. Certificates do not guarantee academic credit, school approval or professional qualifications. Outcomes such as behaviour change or academic improvement cannot be guaranteed.
13. Changes to Programs
Child Safe Nepal may update content, modify lessons, adjust prices or improve program features when needed. We will try to give notice for major updates when possible.
14. No Guarantees
Although our programs are based on research and best practices, we cannot promise specific results. Learning outcomes depend on many factors, including home support, practice and the child’s environment.
15. Limitation of Liability
Child Safe Nepal is not responsible for device damage, internet issues, loss of data, emotional responses, misuse of content, or actions taken by participants outside the program. Use of our programs is your choice and responsibility.
16. Ending Access
We may end or limit access to a program if the terms are violated or if payments are incomplete. No refunds are provided if access is removed for violations.
17. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal for Nepal-based users and the applicable laws of their country for international users.
